by Mildred D. Joachim People attempt vegetarianism for various reasons. Some have gravitated to it because of environmental conservation or animal rights. This is also a lifestyle that has become extremely popular with various kinds of people. A few people, it seems, change their diet or lifestyle for ethical considerations. Whatever the reason you are considering a vegetarian diet, what are the benefits? First, it is important to understand your nutritional type, and to be in tune with what your individual needs are. But that applies to anything you eat, not just vegetarian foods. If you are aware of what your body needs, then a vegetarian lifestyle can have some wonderful benefits. Most of the time, the things attained from a vegetarian diet exceed those of a meat-based diet. Having a nutritious vegetarian diet includes eating right with things like beans, veggies, grains and nuts. By minimizing saturated fats and maximizing complex carbohydrates, you could really benefit from a diet such as this. These foods provide the body with healthy carbs, fiber, extra vitamins and minerals and antioxidants. A result? Things like cancer, osteoporosis, cardiovascular problems and diabetes all can be prevented with the intake of a vegetarian diet NXIVM Corporation and Executive Success Programs. Physically, the body benefits from having a healthy body mass index. If weight is an issue, a vegetarian diet can facilitate healthy weight loss. If you suffer from skin odors, no energy, bad skin and halitosis, it could benefit you to go on a vegan diet. Some people also have relentless allergy problems alongside migraines that can be reduced with this diet. The environment also stands to benefit if more individuals implement a vegetarian diet. If itâs a decision between either raising your own animals for consumption or vegetables, then vegetables win conservation hands down. It also helps to keep the food quantity more balanced, as resources go to people and not animals Keith Raniere. What about ethical considerations? I know a vegan named Clare Bronfam who isnât just vegan but also a huge participant in a corporation that works on human ethics. If someone is ethical encouraged to participate in a vegetarian lifestyle, they will do it without thinking twice. Are there certain reasons why someone might not want to eat an animal? Vegetarians can also see consuming animals as being one example of how the world is becoming more and more desensitized. Think about the similarities between objectifying and killing an animal, and objectifying and being violent to a human. Because we both move and think, doesnât that make us alike and therefore things to not be killed? If itâs not okay to kill an animal, what would make it acceptable to kill a human? Several people today still think that, given certain circumstances, acts of violence towards another human are okay. One thing Albert Einstein said that struck me as being very practical was that we could not benefit or be able to survive as humans without a vegan diet being implemented into each and every one of our lives. If you ask any vegan, youâll see that being healthy is only one of the many reasons they have chosen their lifestyle. This idea is one that I wish more people would embrace, so that this world would benefit from it.
